Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Every manuscript submitted to The Proceedings of the IAHN-TP Palangka Raya National Seminar must adhere to the following formatting and bibliographic standards to ensure academic quality and publication consistency.

1. General Requirements

  • The manuscript must be original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • The length of the manuscript should be between 3,000 to 6,000 words (including references, tables, and figures).
  • The maximum allowed similarity index is 20% (submission of a Turnitin report is highly recommended).

2. Manuscript Structure

  • Title: Maximum 15 words, concise, and informative.
  • Abstract: A single paragraph (150-250 words) covering objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: 3-5 specific words or phrases.
  • Introduction: Background, research urgency, and objectives.
  • Methods: Clear explanation of data collection and analysis techniques.
  • Results and Discussion: Key findings and in-depth academic discussion.
  • Conclusion: Answers to the research objectives and practical/theoretical suggestions.

3. Citation and Reference Standards (MANDATORY)

We strictly require authors to use reference management software (such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote) following the APA Style (7th Edition).

In-Text Citation Examples:

Single author: (Aris, 2026)
Two authors: (Aris & Saputra, 2026)
Three or more authors: (Aris et al., 2026)
