PERAN PARISADA HINDU DHARMA INDONESIA PROVINSI DKI JAKARTA PADA FESTIVAL SENI GEGUNTANGAN DALAM MELESTARIKAN BUDAYA HINDU

Abstract

Geguntangan Art Festival is a culture which is an excellent medium for conveying Hinduism to the people, and for preserving Hindu culture. The person responsible for delivering this goal is Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia, DKI Jakarta Province. To find out more, research needs to be carried out on the role of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia, DKI Jakarta Province at the Geguntangan Art Festival which aims to convey the teachings of Hinduism to the people and to preserve Hindu culture. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method, by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The role of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia in DKI Jakarta Province in the Geguntangan Art Festival is to establish the Gita Puspa Sancaya Pesantian Institution. Furthermore, the Pesantian institution is given the authority to conduct guidance to all Pesantian in the DKI Jakarta Province. The constraints in this coaching are the lack of funds and the distance and time of each Pesantian Sekeha to conduct Pesantian guidance in all regions of DKI Jakarta Province. The next step, Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia DKI Jakarta Province formed a competition committee by holding the Geguntangan Art Festival which is held once a year. The umr participants since their inception in 2012 until 2018 tended to get younger even though they were still dominated by parents.
