Abstract

Sikap eksklusif dan klaim kebenaran tunggal pada agama tertentu memicu kekerasan di berbagai belahan dunia. Sejarah mencatat bahwa Perang Salib dan Kolonialisasi negara-negara di Asia, Afrika dan Amerika salah satunya dipicu oleh sikap eksklusif tersebut. Di abad ke – 21 sikap ekslusif dalam beragama yang ditambah paham radikal memicu aksi-aksi terorisme di berbagai belahan dunia. Pemahaman inklusivisme perlu ditanamkan kepada setiap umat beragama untuk mengurangi dan mencegah kekerasan atas nama agama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan konsep inklusivisme dan menggali nilai-nilai inklusivisme yang terdapat dalam ajaran agama Hindu.
